Get the latest IDC PBBA market data and hear from customer Echelon on backup challenges and lessons learned

As data explodes, protecting it becomes simultaneously more complex and more critical.  Purpose-built backup appliances (PBBAs) can improve backup windows and recovery times without forklift upgrades or revamped infrastructures. Barracuda, recently named #1 worldwide in integrated PBBAs by IDC, offers features such as deduplication, encryption, cloud replication and virtual machine backup. Is this technology right for you?

Watch this interactive session with IDC, a leading analyst firm, and Echelon, a Barracuda Backup customer, to hear what is driving users to adopt backups and best practices in their deployment, including how to:

  • Streamline and simplify data protection while enhancing data security
  • Deploy a low-risk path to cloud storage to reduce costs and expand scalability
  • Implement a seamless DR plan with access to backup files from anywhere, anytime
  • Integrate backup with other key initiatives like archiving, file sharing, and virtualization

Robert Amatruda, IDC Research Director for Data Protection and Recovery, will review his latest research findings on the backup appliance market, where Barracuda Backup ranked #1 in worldwide integrated PBBA shipments. He will be followed by Ian Bell, Echelon Systems Engineer, describing his path to cloud backup and the lessons learned from that process.
